The thing I'm trying to get across here is, do what feels okay for you.

Yes, we will have super productive days but we will also have days where we lay on the couch and binge Netflix or read a book all day and that's okay, too! For others, it's just not for us and it's not because we're lazy or anything like that, but some of us process things differently and we can't function that way on a daily basis. For some of us, that's totally fine and healthy to be super productive and get all of these things done. Yes, Karen may think since we all have so much time that we didn't have before, that we should have our entire homes decluttered, lives in perfect order, be learning new skills, starting new projects, working out daily, etc. The first thing you need to do as far as self care, is stop letting people tell you what you should be doing while you're at home. A lot of us associate self care with a face mask and a bubble bath and if that's what works for you, that's great! But that's not all encompassing so I'll be covering a bunch of things, but don't worry, face masks are included. Self care can mean different things to different people. And maybe this post will be good for you, too. For those of you who are and who have to go out every day and risk exposure, know that we appreciate you. Unless of course you're an essential worker, like my husband. We're all stuck inside, at this point most of us have been inside for well over a month.
